Graffiti Removal
The City of Cerritos offers a 24-hour telephone hotline, (562) 916-1233, for residents to call for speedy removal of graffiti. Callers should report detailed information about the location of the graffiti on the answering machine. Residents may also submit information by visiting GoRequest. The City's policy is to remove graffiti in public areas, and certain other areas visible from public rights-of-way, within 48 hours of its report to the City.
For graffiti on private property, you may contact the City’s Code Enforcement Division at (562) 916-1203. Code Enforcement will work with the private property owner for removal of graffiti.
To report graffiti on freeways, you may submit a Customer Service Request directly to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) by visiting the Caltrans website.
